It might be a factor of age, but it seems as though the years go by faster and faster. Heck, we’re almost done with January and we’re still trying to finish up some things from December. 2018 was a great year for Hydra-Tech Pumps and we owe it all to our loyal customers, reliable vendors, and hardworking employees. We are looking forward to 2019 and continuing to work with customers that have been with us for a long time as well as new customers we develop.
Looking back – 2018 was Hydra-Tech Pump’s best year ever. We exhibited at the WWETT Show in February and had the chance to talk to a number of existing customers and prospects. We survived the great pre-Tier 4 Final engine crush of 2018 and with respect to engine brands, have a wider variety of T4F units to offer in the 74 horsepower range than ever before. We were able to get our NEW S30M axial pump tested with our HT400DJV power unit and it performed even better than expected. Anyone out there need to pump 25,000 gallons per minute?
Looking ahead. We will once again be exhibiting at the WWETT Show. The show is held at the Indianapolis convention center from February 21-23 – we will be in Booth # 4344. In the spring we will break ground on an 8000 square foot addition to our existing facility. For anyone who has not had the chance to visit us in our little corner of the world, Hydra-Tech Pumps manufactures out of a converted catering facility / restaurant. Although we have lots of room the ceilings are low and the building itself obviously wasn’t designed with manufacturing in mind, although we have made it work well for the 11 years we have been in Nesquehoning. The addition will be wide open clean manufacturing space and will house shipping and receiving, steel storage and frame prep, our new in ground test tank, and lots of storage space. It will allow for continued improvement in product flow as well as the hiring of additional manufacturing personnel.
So once again we want to thank you, our customers, for your part in Hydra-Tech’s continued success and for pushing us to continue to improve and grow. Cheers to a bang up 2019!
